As a graduate of Naropa University’s Writing and Poetics Master of Fine Arts Program and former English and Creative Writing college instructor, I’d like to think that I have things pretty figured out. I don’t.
I am the proud mommy of three amazing little boys who are taking me on the journey of a lifetime. My middle son has several developmental delays, including a speech delay, and is suspected of being on the autism spectrum. This is our journey, our road, to treatment, diagnosis, and finding out how we can all lead the lives we were meant to live.

  1. Hi there! First, I love the picture in your blog header. Second, your son sounds a lot like my son Cooper. Cooper just turned 3 and is severely speech delayed. The autism word has been thrown around but I don’t know if it’s right. I’m glad I found your blog! Maybe we can support each other!
